Employees must be added under Master Data > Employees
Every employee needs a user account with a phone number
The Mendato Operations App for Android/iOS must be installed
Step-by-Step Guide
Follow these steps one by one so that time tracking with Mendato can be used by employees right away.
1. Create Employees & Users
Mendato Orders > Master Data > Employees
Add a new employee with salutation, name & phone number, then save
Add the user (via phone number)
2. Start Manual Time Tracking via App
Smartphone > Mendato Operations
π± Open the Mendato Operations App (Android / iOS)
π Log in with phone number & password
Workflow for the employee β manual time tracking:
Start journey
Start operation
Start break
Resume
End
3. Review & Approve Time Tracking
Mendato Orders > Personnel > Time Tracking
Check times & location
Edit if needed
Set status to Confirmed
4. Add Time Tracking Manually
Employee > Time Tracking > β Create Time Tracking
Enter individual or multiple periods
5. Export Time Tracking
Settings > Export > New Export
Export type: Payroll data
Select period
Formats: DATEV LODAS, DATEV L&G, Lexware, Excel
